
Paris, Tenn.–Dogs and dog owners are welcome Tuesday for the dedication and ribbon-cutting of the Atkins-Porter Dog Park in Paris. The sign at the entrance of the dog park also will be unveiled.
The event is set for 9 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, at the entrance of the dog park, located at the corner of Highland and Walnut Streets.
The dog park was completed with the help of the Randy Boyd Foundation and includes misters, fountains, a dog washing station, shade awnings, ramps and obstacle courses.
University of Tennessee President Randy Boyd will be on hand for the dedication.
