Weakley County Mask Mandate Extended

Dresden, Tenn.–Weakley County Mayor Jake Bynum has extended the county’s face mask mandate to September 30.

Bynum extended the declaration of a State of Emergency for the county and extended the mandate which was set to expire at midnight August 29. It is extended to 11:59 p.m. September 30.

Governor Bill Lee earlier this afternoon extended his Executive Order allowing local entities to mandate face masks in public settings due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
