Huntingdon, Tenn.–No one was injured, but the administrative offices at The Dixie Performing Arts Center were damaged when a vehicle drove through the front of the building Saturday evening.
The report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol has not been released, but the Dixie posted information on the accident Saturday night on its Facebook page. “We knew we were blessed but that seems especially true this evening. Everyone is okay thankfully but our Administrative office has suffered some damage from a vehicle accident. The driver was also not injured thank goodness.
We would like to sincerely thank the Town of Huntingdon workers pictured here reinforcing our window and the Huntingdon Police & Fire Department as well as Tennessee Highway Patrol for their efforts tonight.”
The Dixie will rebuild, according to the Facebook post, and will “no doubt be better than before.”
