Dover, Tenn.–The sun is out, allowing for the road surfacing project to continue at Fort Donelson National Battlefield in Dover. The project had been scheduled for completion September 15, but rain delayed work.
Drivers within the park are asked to pay additional attention for areas under treatment, and follow guidance of signage and traffic personnel.
For today, Tuesday, September 29, the following areas are being treated:
VISITOR CENTER PARKING—

Reopens Thursday, October 1
Parking is available parallel to
road in Bus/RV pull-off.
