
Paris, Tenn.–Paris Police arrested a man accused of robbing a local convenience store just a few hours after the incident.
Brandon Bynum, age 20, is charged with robbery following the incident in the early morning hours Wednesday.
Bynum is accused of stealing $700 from behind the counter at Pockets convenience store at 901 Mineral Wells Ave., around 12:50 a.m.
Patrolmen Brandon Steele and Blake Richardson, along with Investigator Derrek Colley identified Bynum as the suspect after watching surveillance video. Officers were given a description of the car Bynum was driving.
Patrolman Jeff Smith stopped the vehicle later and Bynum allegedly admitted to the robbery. The stolen money was recovered and returned to the store.
He is being held on $10,000 bond in the Henry Co. Jail.
