
Dover, Tenn.–A Paris driver was arrested on drug charges and his vehicle seized by the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office.
Jerry Wayne Beane, age 55, of Beane Drive, Paris, was charged with possession of meth while driving, manufacturing/possession of meth, possession of illegal drug paraphernalia, and violation of registration laws. He is being held on $58,000 bond.
On Monday afternoon, Sgt. Robbie MacDonald made a traffic stop on a vehicle and after talking with the driver and passenger and viewing the inside of the vehicle, probable cause for a search warrant was established, according to the press release.
A search of the vehicle lead to the discovery of several grams of meth, assorted drug paraphernalia, items and instructions for packaging and selling drugs. In addition to the drugs approximately $3000.00 in cash as well as the vehicle was seized.
Also arrested was the passenger, Bryan Williams, age 50 of Nashville. He was arrested on drug charges.
