Paris, Tenn.–A long line of people who have appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccine was waiting outside the Henry Co. Health Department and onto the neighboring streets and into Tyson Ave. this afternoon. Health Department Public Health Educator Callie Pierce said the department’s goal for today is to give out 250 vaccines. “These are people who already have appointments to receive the vaccines today. This is our first big day here at the Health Department for this,” she said. Vaccines are being given out now to persons who fall into several categories such as first responders, child care staff, health care providers, etc.
