Paris, Tenn.–Staff at the Henry County Health Department have been busy administering the COVID-19 vaccine and will continue at a drive-thru every day this week. Personnel are vaccinating on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3:30 p.m. Right now, they are vaccinating first responders, healthcare workers, funeral/mortuary personnel, school and childcare staff, and 75 or older. You must have an appointment to get the vaccine from the Health Department. Phone number is 731 642 4025. Health Department officials said they know the phone lines have been busy, but to just keep calling. The department is located at 803 Joy St. in Paris. The Henry County Medical Center will begin offering the vaccine Tuesday at a separate drive-thru at hospital circle and that will include 65 and over. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
