Paris, Tenn.–The Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce will be doing something new, conducting Education Roundtables featuring the Presidents and/or Chancellors of universities in our area.
The Rountables will be for the public, community leaders and potential students at the universities. Chamber CEO Travis McLeese said, “With COVID, they are having to reinvent their recruiting strategies” and the Roundtables will provide exposure to the local student populations.
The Roundtables will kick off this Thursday, February 4, with Dr. Walter Butler from Bethel University. Dr. Keith Carver from the University of Tennessee at Martin will appear on Thursday, February 11. Dr. Bob Jackson of Murray State will appear Thursday, March 11.
All of the Roundtables are held at the Chamber office from 10-11 a.m. and are free to the public.
