MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin Office of University Outreach is offering a series of online ACT prep courses to help students prepare for the test.
The ACT Success Tactics Workshops will teach students time-saving and strategic tips in a two-hour Zoom session from 5 – 7 p.m. The Math and Science Reasoning courses will be offered March 3 and April 6, and the English and Reading courses will be taught March 5 and April 8.
Registration for each workshop costs $30. Students will need access to a computer that can connect to Zoom through audio and video. To register, visit utm.edu/actprep.
UT Martin adjunct faculty member and author Alex Beene will teach the courses. Beene serves as a lead instructor for Tennessee Adult Education in three counties and works primarily with rising high school juniors and seniors needing academic help with standardized testing.
