Murray, Ky.–The Murray Police Department has already made an arrest in the vandalism to the Veterans’ Memorial in Chestnut Park.
Murray Police this morning announced that Robert Kare, age 27, of Murray, has been charged with first degree criminal mischief for the destruction of the Eagle statues at the Memorial.
Kare was charged Tuesday evening and is lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
The Murray Police said the arrest was thanks to assistance from the public in identifying the suspect.
