Hostess Princess Victoria Owen & Court Reign Over World’s Biggest Fish Fry

Paris, Tenn.–Reigning over the 2021 World’s Biggest Fish Fry are Hostess Princess Victoria Owen and her Court: First Maid Lexi Daniel, Second Maid Samantha Clark and Third Maid Jessica Whalen.

They were selected at the 2020 Hostess Princess pageant, but with the cancellation of last year’s Fish Fry, they will finally have the opportunity to reign over the event and all of its festivities.

Victoria Owen is 19 and the daughter of Jeremy and Jennifer Owen. She is a freshman at the University of Tennessee at Martin, majoring in education.

Lexi Daniel is 19 and the daughter of Steve and Pam Daniels. She is a sophomore, majoring in nursing at Bethel University in McKenzie.

Samantha Clark is the 19-year-old daughter of Stacy and Linda Clark and attends Bethel University, pursing a degree in Business Management.

Jessica Whalen is 18 and the daughter of Tim and Lori Whalen. She is a senior at Henry County High School.

Queen Victoria Owen will be tossing out the first hush puppy at 5 p.m. Wednesday, a ceremony which officially opens the Fish Tent. All you can eat catfish and all the trimmings, adult $15; children 6-12, $10. April 21-22, 5-9 p.m.; April 23-24, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. All at the Henry County Fairgrounds.

Tuesday
Carnival opens at fairgrounds. April 20-22, 5-11 p.m.; April 23-24, 11 a.m. to midnight; April 25, 1-6 p.m.
Country Dance, 7 p.m. Fairgrounds, admission $5
Wednesday
Fish Tent opens. All you can eat catfish, adult $15; children 6-12, $10. April 21-22, 5-9 p.m.; April 23-24, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. All at fairgrounds.
Christian Concert by The Nathan Shoemaker Band, 7 p.m., fairgrounds, Admission $5
Thursday
Arts and Crafts 5-8:30 p.m.; April 23-24, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., fairgrounds
Friday
Grand Parade, 10 a.m., East Wood St. Route starts at East Wood Church of Christ and moves down East Wood Street.
Championship Bulls and Barrels 7:30 p.m., Admission 412; children 6-12, $10; under 6 free with paying adult.
Saturday
Small Fry parade, downtown Paris, 10 a.m.
Championship Bulls and Barrels 7:30 p.m., Admission 412; children 6-12, $10; under 6 free with paying adult.
Junior Fishing Rodeo, free for children 12 and under, Williams Lake, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
