
Gleason, Tenn.–The Gleason Fire Department is mourning the loss of long-time Fire Chief Jerry Connell.
In a Facebook post, firefighters said, “Not only was he a great Fire Chief, he was an amazing man overall. He was a great servant to his community that would put everyone else before himself.”
Visitation will be Sunday, April 25, at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Gleason with the funeral following at 3:30 PM. Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of arrangements.
One of the Gleason Fire trucks was decorated with black ribbon, flag, and Connell’s helmet. Fire officials said, Rest easy GFD 1301. We will take it from here.”
