Union City, Tenn.–There were huge crowds all weekend for the Military History and Armed Forces Symposium at Discovery Park of America. A steady stream of visitors was on hand all three days of the symposium, which included exhibits, live reenactments, panel discussions, indoor and outdoor displays and more.
A highlight of the event was on Sunday, when a Blackhawk helicopter landed at Discovery Park for everyone to view.
Discovery Park CEO Scott Williams said, “The third and final day of our big military weekend included more gallery talks, live reenactments on the Great Lawn, an amazing panel discussion with members of the 194th Engineer Brigade, and an inspiring keynote address from Lt. Gen. John G. Castellaw. Thank you to all the reenactors, speakers and service men and women who helped make this weekend a success!”
