Paris, Tenn.–A Buchanan man is being held in the Henry County Jail on $250,000 bond after his arrest on sexual battery and exploitation charges involving a child under 13 years old.
On May 5, 2021 Charles Anderson, 55, of 14100 Hwy 79N, Buchanan was arrested at the Henry County Sheriff’s for Aggravated Sexual Battery and Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
The arrest took place as a result of an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division of allegations that a cellular phone belonging to Anderson contained images depicting child pornography.
The investigation also found that Anderson had unlawful sexual contact with a child less than 13 years of age in Henry County during December 2020 and January 2021.
The investigation is ongoing with the cooperation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Tennessee Department of Children Services.
Anderson is being held under a $250,000.00 bond pending arraignment in Henry County General Sessions Court on May 6, 2021.
