Dover, Tenn.–“Sometimes people with drugs just make it easy for law enforcement.” So says the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office, after an incident at the Pit Stop Market on Hwy. 79.
K9 Sgt. Robbie MacDonald and K9Deputy Aaron Page of the county’s Drug Interdiction Team were sitting in the parking lot at the Pit Stop when they saw a vehicle pull up to the gas pumps.
The passenger left the vehicle and pumped gas, afterwhich he “decided to take a ‘leak’ in the parking lot”, according to the press release.
Deputies then approached the car, speaking with both the passenger and driver. The driver gave consent to search the vehicle and deputies found meth belonging to the passenger.
Arrested was William Tomlin, age 33, of Indian Mound, charged with drug possession and indecent exposure. Bond was set at $3,500.
