Martin, Tenn.–Jenna Smith, UT Martin mechanical engineering student of Union City, Donnie Strickland, manufacturing engineering student, of Jackson, and Abigale Plunk, electrical engineering student, of Martin, are pictured with UT Martin engineering professor Dr. Saman Sargolzaei and their “AutonoMop,” the students’ senior design project. Even with the restrictions brought about by COVID-19, the team was able to safely work on the project, beginning in the Fall of 2020.
