Paris, Tenn.–Paris Academy for the Arts will be featuring handcrafted items from more than 20 artisans this Saturday at their Summer Bazaar, a fundraiser previously held in December for the holidays.
The Bazaar is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 26. The public is invited to the free event, which helps support the Academy’s program to provide arts classes and enrichment for the community.
One of the many exhibiting artists is Amanda Mason from Ginkgo Pottery Studio. She will have unique wheel thrown items such as cups, spoon rests, bird feeders and bowls.
The indoor bazaar will also include a variety of handmade jewelry, wooden bowls, decorative glass, honey, jams, goat’s milk soap, greeting cards, prints, painting, sculpture, gourd art, knitted items, and walking sticks.
The Academy will also be selling used cookbooks, old school desks, and homemade baked goods.
Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day, featuring items made by the vendors. Kettle Corn and food trucks will also be there.
Paris Academy for the Arts is located at 402 Lee Street.
