Dover, Tenn.–Join the park staff at the historic Surrender House in Dover on Saturday, June 26, as staff of the Fort Donelson National Battlefield share stories of Battle of Fort Donelson, the sacrifice of the Civil War soldiers, and the eventual trials the Confederates faced as prisoners-of-war.
The program will be held under the shade tree, just outside the historic building. Bring your lawn chair, insect repellant, and water to enjoy the short interpretive talk. Don’t forget to also bring your enthusiasm and questions for the Park Ranger too! Programs will be held at noon, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm.
