Mayfield, Ky.–A Graves County man picked the wrong person to solicit. He was arrested on solicitation to prostitution charges after he was met by a sheriff’s detective.
On July, 19, 2021 the Graves County Sheriff’s office received a complaint from local resident saying they were contacted on Facebook by a stranger offering money for sexual contact.
According to the press release, the suspect arrived at the predetermined location at a Mayfield business and was met by a sheriff’s detective. The suspect had in his possession the $1,000 dollars that was offered as payment. The suspect admitted to the offense charged. He was taken to the Graves County Jail.
The arrest occurred at 1:05 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Arrested was Oscar Cardenas, age 50.
