Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Mayor John Penn Ridgeway showed students in the Henry County Extension Service’s Teen Academy how to change a tire Tuesday. The three-day Teen Academy ends today and has been demonstrating life skills for 23 students. Under the direction of Extension Director Michele Atkins, the Academy has been teaching the kids such skills as how to sew on buttons, how to tie a tie, how to do laundry and ironing, how to clean, car maintenance, table manners, setting the table, food safety, how to prepare breakfast and more.
