Murder Suspect At Large After Cutting Off Ankle Monitor

Troopers with Kentucky State Police, Post 1 are currently searching for a Christian County male who was charged with murder and other charges in Trigg County.
James W. Gentry, Jr. 46 of Hopkinsville, Kentucky was scheduled to be in Trigg County Circuit Court this morning, but has removed his ankle monitor. He is possibly headed south in a gold Buick Regal passenger car. Gentry should be considered dangerous as his charges include Murder, Robbery, and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon.
According to Hopkinsville Police, this morning he cut off his ankle monitor, which showed his last known location on the corner of Coxmill & Wooldridge Rd. James, in photo wearing dark pants and a red or maroon shirt, was last seen in the company of the male walking beside him. They both left the Circle K on Lafayette in a dark colored pick-up truck.
