Paris, Tenn.–Crews with AstroTurf began installing the artificial turf at Henry County High School Patriot Stadium today and by late afternoon, had covered the field with the turf and installed the red “Patriots” logos at the ends of the field. Director of Schools Dr. Leah Watkins said the goal is for the field to be ‘playable’ by the August 20 home game against Summit. More work, including installation of the goal posts and scoreboard, and repaving of parking lot, still needs to be done before it is complete. While work continues, scrimmages are being held on the practice field and at Barton Field. (Henry County School System photo).
