Camden, Tenn.–The Benton County Highway Department and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office are taking donations to be carried to the people of Waverly and Humphreys County who are impacted by the massive flooding today.
Assistant Road Supervisor Scotty Hollowell said two loads will be taken today: one by lunch and the second around 5 p.m.
The Highway Department took a semi truck and trailer to the sheriff’s office Saturday and it already has taken a few loads to Waverly.
Donations needed include food, water, hygiene products, diapers, clothes, pet supplies.
