Tanner Hudson of Camden will be playing for the San Francisco 49ers this season.
Tight-end Hudson was waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this week and was quickly snatched up by the 49ers after going unclaimed on waivers.
According to Greg Auman of The Athletic, Hudson has joined the 49ers practice squad.
Auman said Hudson may not have been a good fit for Tampa Bay.
But we should all remember Hudson helped Tampa Bay earn their Super Bowl rings last season.
Hudson started the last football season on the Tampa Bay practice squad, but an injury to O.J. Howard elevated him to the roster for the rest of the season. Hudson finished the year with 3 catches for 41 yards.
