Paris, Tenn.–The new Pickle Ball Courts at Eiffel Tower Park will soon be ready for play, as crews continue to make progress on their construction. Crews Wednesday were acid-washing in preparation for painting the playing surfaces. Paris Parks and Recreation Director Tony Lawrence said painting may happen Friday, if the rain holds off. The next step will be installation of lights. “But people will be able to play on them after we get done with the painting,” Lawrence said. Fencing around the four courts was installed by AllStar Fence of Paris. The new courts are located in the back part of the park. Lawrence said a grand opening will be held when construction is complete. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
