Paris, Tenn.–After deliberating for two hours, a Henry County Circuit Court jury found a Paris man not guilty of rape of a child.
Joshuwa Visnick, age 33, was indicted by a local grand jury earlier this year. Henry County Sheriff’s Investigator Gary Vandiver said Visnick was charged with rape of a child aged three to 13 years old.
The trial commenced on Tuesday morning after a day of preliminary motions and jury selection on Monday.
Assistant District Attorney Rebecca Griffey represented the state and Memphis Attorney Larry Fitzgerald representing Visnick.
