Paris, Tenn.–The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the University of Tennessee Extension are hosting a public informational meeting in Paris on Thursday to address questions regarding chronic wasting disease (CWD).
Henry County has changed status to a CWD positive county and Weakley County is now CWD high-risk county. Residents, hunters, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend to learn more about CWD.
The CWD Informational Meeting is set for Thursday, October 28, 2021. It will begin at 7 pm and will be held at the Henry County Fairgrounds Enoch Building. For additional information about the event, please call the Henry County UT Extension office at 731-642-2941.
