Paris, Tenn.–Oh yea! Pancakes! The Carl Perkins Center has announced it will be holding its annual Pancake Day, one of Henry County’s most popular fundraisers, on November 4 at First Baptist Church in Paris. And, it’s held all day, so you can have pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Carl Perkins Center Carly Wheat said, “This year, the support is needed more since we have moved into a new location. I have been humbled by the amount of support of moving into our own location. The community has stepped up in a big way to donate items that we need for our new CAC. This Pancake Fundraiser is another way to support our new Child Advocacy Center and the families that we serve.”
The Carl Perkins Center recently moved from its long-time location in the 911 Building to a new headquarters at 305 W. Washington Street, across from Paris City Hall.
Pancake Day will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the church’s Orr Hall.
Tickets are $8 presale and $10 at the door. Many volunteers from board members to local law enforcement help with the griling of the pancakes, which uses the circular griddle once used by the Paris Kiwanis Club.
