“Convincer” Very Convincing For OCCHS Students

Troy, Tenn.–Obion County Central High School Drivers’ Education students were visited by K-9 Officer Willcutt from the Obion County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Willcutt spoke about the importance of seatbelt safety and the consequences of choosing not to buckle up. The “Convincer,” which mimics the impact of a vehicle crashing at highway speeds, was true convincer for students and staff. Sara Beth Key, in photo, was one of the many to take a ride on the “Convincer,” leaving her feeling shook, she got off as quick as she could. The Obion County School System encourages all students, staff, and community members to click it and avoid a ticket, as well as any of the many dire repercussions that choosing to not wear a seatbelt can have. Buckle up, Obion County! (Obion County Central High School photo).
