The Duck River Bottoms area of the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge was host to a special continuing educational class with the Tennessee Naturalist Program. US Fish and Wildlife staff Heath Hagy, Waterfowl Ecologist, and Refuge Ranger Joan Howe held a class on Wetland Ecology/Waterfowl Biology. After two hours of classroom work, the rest of the class was conducted in the wetlands. Approximately 15 people from across West Tennessee attended the class.
