
McKenzie, Tenn.–An Indiana man was injured in a rollover crash that ended up in a deep gully on Old McKenzie Road.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol this morning released the report of the accident, which occurred around 10 a.m. Friday at 1060 Old McKenzie Road.
The driver, Joshua Dunn, age 24, of Cicero, Indiana, was pinned in the vehicle, which landed upside down in the gully. McKenzie Fire & Rescue freed the driver and assisted EMS personnel in pulling the patient up onto the road. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
According to the THP, Dunn was driving a 2011 Nissan Altima and was traveling west on the roadway when he drove off the road, down an embankment and overturned.
He was not wearing a seat belt.
According to McKenzie Fire & Rescue, law enforcement at the scene included three units of the McKenzie Police, three units of the THP, three units of the Carroll County EMS and sheriff’s deputies.
