
Nashville, Tenn.–Two of the finalists for the 2021 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football will be facing off in Chattanooga on Friday when the McKenzie Rebels take on South Pittsburg Pirates in their 2 p.m. championship game. McKenzie Rebel junior running back Marquez Taylor missed one game of the year but still ran for over 1500 yards for the year.
Taylor has carried the ball 172 times for 1591 yards averaging 9.3 yards per carry and 32 touchdowns on the year. He is the second leading pass receiver for the Rebels with 22 catches fir 373 yards avg. 17 yards per catch and 6 touchdowns. In addition he has returned kickoffs 4 times for 112 yards a 28 yard average. Overall Marquez has been responsible for 41 touchdowns.
