Deputy Moore Named West Tennessee Deputy Of Year

oc-dep-moore-2

Union City, Tenn.–Obion County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Moore was recently selected as the West TN Deputy of the Year by the Tennessee Highway Safety Office.
Sheriff Karl Jackson said, “Deputy Moore is the guy we can always depend on to get things done. If we have a transport that needs to leave at 3am, Michael Moore volunteers. If a patrol shift is short and needing an extra man to fill in, Michael Moore volunteers. When the community hosts an event or a festival and we need to provide security, Michael Moore is the first to volunteer. He never complains about having to work long hours to get things done, and he never asks or expects a pat on the back for his work.
“Deputy Moore is the guy that helps keep our Sheriff’s Office running smoothly without even realizing it. He is more of an asset to us than most recognize, because he is the quiet guy in the background that doesn’t say much…unless he’s raising his hand to volunteer.
“With all of this being said, it is an honor for the Obion County Sheriff’s Office to have Deputy Michael Moore selected as the West TN Deputy of the Year.”
