Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction has now raised a total of $53,331, with the $1,659 raised Wednesday by Kroger, the Henry County Prevention Coalition, the Jones Mill/Hico Community, and Charter Senior Living. Auctioneer was Jamie Orr.
The annual auction started on Monday and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.
Thursday’s items will be donated by the Oakland community, Junior Livestock, Latter Day Saints, and H&R Block. Noel Hatman will be the auctioneer.
Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.
The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
