Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Fair Board came back from the Tennessee Association of Fairs 100th anniversary convention over the weekend with awards in hand.

The Henry County Fair received a Merit Award from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, first place for the Fair Book and Second Place in the Promotional Merchandise Category with the aprons that were designed for the Chopped competition.

The convention was held at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro. The convention theme was Celebrating 100 Years of Unsung Heroes.

Local board member Deneicia Gregson was reelected to the Tennessee Association of Fairs Board of Directors to represent all fairs from West Tennessee.

Kenna Thrower did a wonderful job representing the Henry County Fair at the Tennessee Fairest of the Fairs.

The Henry County Fair submitted several of its projects showcasing the local fair to compete against all the other fairs in the state.

Fair officials said, “Plans for the Henry County 2022 Fair have already started with the dates of August 20-27 set.   So mark your calendar.  See you at the Fair!”
