
Paris, Tenn.–A whopping $15,668 was raised today, bringing the grand total in the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction to $86,522 raised so far.
Donating items to the auction today were the Cottage Grove and Center communities and Interrail Signal. Auctioneers today were David Jackson and Jamie Orr and helping with the phones were members of the Kiwanis Club.
Wednesday is a day for several of the county’s banks, with donations to come from Commercial Bank, Foundation Bank, Regions Bank, First Bank, Carroll Bank & Trust.
The annual auction started on Monday and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.
Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.
