Helping Hand Radio Auction Total Now At $93,932

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is moving right along, with a grand total of $93,932 now rasied for the annual charity auction.

The county’s banks came through in a big way today, raising $7,410 with 16 slates of items donated. Donating today was Commercial Bank, Foundation Bank, Regions Bank, First Bank, and Carroll Bank and Trust. Auctioneer today was Ray Compton, with the Paris Lions Club manning the phones.

Groups donating items on Thursday will be the Puryear community Harrelson Beta Club, Office on Aginst and Northwest Nutrition.

The annual auction started on Monday and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.

Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.

The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
