Helping Hand Radio Auction Now At $111,120

Paris, Tenn.–The good people of Whitlock came through for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction today, with 16 slates of items donated bringing a total of $7,555. The grand total raised since January 10 is now at $111,120.

Auctioneer today was Jamie Orr and several items brought over $100 each. Helping with the phones were the Business and Professional Club members.

Monday’s items will be donated by New Harmony Baptist, Sparks Street Church of Christ, HCHS Band Boosters/Color Guard, Inman Band, Heritage Center and the Henry County Historical Society. Auctioneer on Monday will be Junior Staggs.

The annual auction started January 10 and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.

Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.

The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
