Helping Hand Total Now At $177,728

Paris, Tenn.–Thanks to a huge donation, the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction raised $63,582 today. That brings the grand total raised to date at $177,728.

Items were donated today by First Presbyterian Church, New Boston community, Yoder Brothers, Seventh Day Adventist, and Joe Mahan Ford.

Today’s auctioneer was Junior Staggs and he was helped on the phones by members of the Lakeway Kiwanis Club. Wednesday’s auctioneer will be Ray Compton.

Items for Wednesday will be donated by the Mansfield community, Christ Lutheran, Carl Perkins Center and Johnson Chapel.

The annual auction started January 10 and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.

Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.

The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
