Paris, Tenn.–Another great day at the Helping Hand Radio Auction today, with $5,352 raised bringing the grand total so far this year at $205,782.
Donating today’s items was Wal-Mart, Covenant Ranch, Plus Endowment, Buddy Ball and CHHAMPS. Auctioneer was Darrin Thompson with the Paris Lions Club helping with the phones.
Tomorrow’s items will be donated by Firview Baptist Church, Historic Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Association, HCHS Theatre Depart., HCHS Speech Team, and HCHS Swim Team. Auctioneer on Thursday will be Noel Hatman.
The annual auction started Jan. 10 and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.
Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.
