Paris, Tenn.–A Buchanan home was heavily damaged by fire this morning. The occupants were not at home and no one was injured.
The Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to 15055 Hwy. 79N around 8:30 a.m. Paris Landing Chief Jamie Hinson said when firefighters arrived there was heavy fire and smoke showing from the home.
Mutual aid was provided by the Paris and Puryear Fire Departments.
Three trucks and seven firefighters were on the scene from Paris Landing, with one truck and two firemen from Paris and one truck and three firemen from Puryear.
Hinson said the Paris Landing department was on the scene around three hours. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
