Obion County, Tenn.–The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released the report on a two-vehicle accident which took two lives early Saturday morning in Obion County.
THP Lt. Christopher Hosick said the accident occurred at 1:30 a.m. on State Route 22.
The accident claimed the lives of Jaxon Jones, age 21, of Kenton, who was driving a 2011 Ford Escape; and Steven Sawyers, age 30, of Greenfield, who was driving a 2007 Cadillac CTS.
The preliminary report states the vehicles collided while traveling on the highway and that neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
