Henry, Tennessee–Made possible through a Plus Endowment Grant submitted by Art Teacher Valerie Godina, Henry Elementary School is introducing everyone to its new book vending machine.
In order to promote literacy and positive behavior, all school staff can write students a Positive Office Referral for showcasing outstanding character. Students get a pirate prize, a note home, a feature on the school’s TV announcements, and a book to add to their home library. With the addition of our book vending machine, students will now receive an Inchy the Bookworm token to choose a book in the most exciting new way.

Assistant Principal Robin House said, “We look forward to new ways to use our book vending machine to continue growing excitement around books and reading in the future!”
