Brian D. Earney

Brian D. Earney, 68, of Springville, Tennessee, died at Henry County Medical Center Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the Henry County Medical Center.

Mr. Earney was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served in Vietnam. Brian and his two daughters were lifetime members of the VFW Post #1300 in Granite City, Illinois. He was an avid fisherman who spent most days on the lake near Buchanan Resort. Brian enjoyed sitting on his front porch sipping a cold white can and listening to good tunes where a good time was had by all who joined him. He loved spending time with his family, most especially his grandchildren and his two grand pups, Jackson and Scotch.

He was born Saturday, September 26, 1953 in Granite City, Illinois, to Howard A. “Scotty” Earney and Annie T. Hoy Earney, who both preceded him in death. Two of his brothers also preceded him in death.

Mr. Earney leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Kellie Earney (Scott) Grimes, of Granite City, Illinois and Kathrine Earney (Nathan) Robbins, of Fairview Heights, Illinois; grandchildren Desiray “Dizzy” Grimes and Matthew “Bugs” Reed; a sister, a brother and nieces, nephews, other family members and many great friends.

Mr. Earney’s body is to be cremated, but a celebration of life for family and friends of Mr. Earney will be held at the Anabel Room of Buchanan Resort from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2022. .
