Mr. Richard D. Pinson, 73, died Friday, April 22, 2022, at his residence.
He was born in McKenzie Wednesday, September 29, 1948, to Quinn and Carolyn Smith Pinson. He is preceded in death by his father Quinn, a sister Kathy Bateman and a grandson Jack Pinson.
He retired from Republic Doors after 42 years in the maintenance department and he is a Vietnam Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Nancy K. Pinson, two sons Jason (Jennifer) Pinson and Eric ( Wendy) Pinson, all of McKenzie, his mother Carolyn Pinson, of Trezevant, a sister Patsy ( Jamie) Grooms, of Nashville, a brother Jeff Pinson, of Trezevant, and four grandchildren Jacob Pinson, Jacey Pinson, Hannah Pinson and Cooper Pinson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 22, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday, April 25, 2022, at 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment for Richard Pinson is at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.
