Mr. Willie E. Lowe, Jr., 75, died Friday at his residence.
He is a member of Back to the Bible Mission Church and a retired police officer for the City of McKenzie. He was born on Thursday, April 10, 1947, to Willie and Bessie Lewis Lowe. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Louise Haywood.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Shelia Long Lowe, of McKenzie, a daughter: Christy (Mathew) Sweatt, of McKenzie, two sons: Michael (Emily) Lowe, of Gleason, and Nicholas (Candi) Lowe, of McKenzie, four sisters: Bessie Reeder, of Clarksville, Fay Anderson, of Hendersonville, Velma Anderson, of Lebanon and Connie Haley, of McKenzie, and four grandchildren: Alyse, Peyton, Hope-Katherine and Hannah Bess.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 27, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Lewis Hollow Cemetery in Waverly and Brother Richard Crossno will officiate.
