Buchanan, Tenn.–Amvets Post 45 donated $600 toward the new Nature Center at Paris Landing State Park and park officials said they are very appreciative of their support. Amvet officials said the Nature Center was chosen for the donation, which comes from the Post’s recycled can project. “We hope this donation helps you with your mission to teach our children about nature,” they said. Park Ranger Gina Lowry said, “They are constantly helping businesses and people in the community and we wanted to give them a shout out to show how much we appreciate them.” The Nature Center is located on Bridgeview inside the park.
