West Tennessee teams continue to advance in the TSSAA playoffs for next week with the Henry County Patriots hosting the Springfield Yellow Jackets after Springfield upset Munford on Friday night and Henry County took care of business against Portland. The McKenzie Rebels defeated Moore County and will host Fayetteville on Friday night.
Other teams around the area include the Union City Tornadoes who defeated Westview and will now take on Huntingdon who defeated Fairley High School out of Memphis. THe winner of that game Friday wil take on the winner of Riverside and Lewis County to advance.
Dyersburg will take on Covington, Lexington will take on Pearl Cohn, Milan will play Haywood. Eight teams will face each other in Division 1 Class 1-6 next Friday night to advance to the final four. With a win for Henry County next week they would face the winner of Paige and Nolensville. Congratulations to all of the teams that will be playing again next Friday night.
