
Lynn Greer, 65, of Paris, Tennessee, died Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
Lynn was born Friday, May 10, 1957, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Treva Wilburn Merrell and the late Janet Evelyn Paul Merrell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother: Phil Merrell; two sisters-in-law: Becky Merrell and Candy Merrell; and one brother-in-law: Jerry Nelson.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and sewing. She formerly worked for several years at H&R Block and Clifty Farms. Lynn loved her family, especially her grandbabies, nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed canning and preserving out of the garden and loved crafts.
She was married Saturday, June 4, 1977, to Dale Greer, who survives, of Paris.
Along with her husband, she is also survived by two daughters: Traci (Michael) Raymer, of Paris, and Jessica (Luke) Millraney, of Springville, Tennessee; four sisters: Bernice Nelson, of Metropolis, Illinois, Debbie (Danny) Hart, of Puryear, Tennessee, Bonnie (Marcus) Heckman, of Spanish Fort, Alabama, and Virginia (Darrell) Evans, of Milan, Tennessee; two brothers: Jimmy (Debra) Merrell, of Springville, Tennessee, and David (Jane) Merrell, of McKenzie, Tennessee; five grandchildren: Mikey Raymer, Jessica Raymer (Blake Coleman), Chloe Millraney, Bella Millraney, and Lucas Millraney; one great-grandchild: Gwenavyre Coleman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242. Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Friday, January 6, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Mackie Gallimore officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brodie Merrell, David Merrell, Hunter Merrell, J.W. Nelson, Phil Eric Merrell, and Ryan Merrell. Named as honorary pallbearers are Danny Hart and Ronald Tidwell.
Burial will be in Price Cemetery in Puryear, Tennessee.
